Let's talk about....

The use of commas with proper names. I've been seeing a lot of mistakes with this lately. I'm not going to go into a big long boring explanation of this. I'm just going to show you an example. If you don't understand the example and what it indicates, you should probably take a grammar class or maybe just not writie anymore. LOL

"Let's eat, Dad." Johnny indicated the dinner table with a sweep of his arm.

"Let's eat Dad." Johnny indicated the dinner table with a sweep of his arm.
