And I steal from Angela...well, this time at least. She posted a video of Keith Olbermann and his reponse to the passing of Prop 8 in California, and I've got to say, it really touched me. I'm not even going to bother to say more because he says it so much better than I ever could. Thanks, Angie!!

No more Ferguson!!

And for those of you who are unaware, Ferguson is my car...a 2001 Chevy Cavalier. So not my style, but it was what I got in a hurry about 5 years ago. Had I been with Myles at the time, he would have put the kabosh on it. =P

Myles and his buddy flew out to New Hampshire and picked up my new car for me this past weekend. A blue 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. Myles has an '01 and when his mom decided to get rid of hers, we gladly accepted the discounted price she offered us. LOL Yeah, free is acceptable. A car for a wedding present is okay with me. =) I'm soooo glad to be rid (well, we're putting it on eBay this week after it's detailed) of my two-door car. It's a pain. Never again.

Today pretty much sucks

Considering the fact that I just find out my brother is going back to Iraq. He'll be going to Camp Adeberry to mobilize and then he'll be heading to Kuwait in a couple of weeks. Hopefully I'll be able to see him before he goes. :( He'll be stationed in Kuwait, doing transport from Kuwait to Baghdad. We won't know how safe his job is until we find out what he's transporting. Last time he was transporting fuel...that's no good. And then he was in a mercenary/assasin squad in Baghdad. Needless to say, he didn't come back the same person from Iraq when he came home from his first tour in July of 2007. Hopefully he doesn't have to do the assasin stuff this time. So, needless to say, I'm in a really crappy mood today. Plus, it's about 3 degrees outside...literally. So that does nothing to put me in a better mood. I'm sick of this cold shit. I don't care about snow, I just hate it when it's this frickin' cold. And anyone who knows anything about Indiana knows how bad that is, since we have all this damn wind. It's miserable this time of year.
